She is a Civil Engineer – Environmental Planner and currently working as a Support Engineer in Tata Consulting Engineering for PMC, National Mission for Clean Ganga. Presently she is working on monitoring and evaluation of sewerage infrastructure projects under the Namami Gange project.

Previously she worked as a Project Associate in WSUP Advisory India. In that role with WSUP, she got to contribute in the country’s most ambitious program Swachh Bharat Mission Urban under the project “Capacity Building for Swachh Bharat Mission (U), Technical Support to USAID – GoI Knowledge Partnership”.

She started her career in a small but rapidly growing organization, which gave her a chance to handle various responsibilities such as background study, data analysis, survey, tools development, strategy planning, ground level implementation and monitoring.

Other than ODF strategy, she also worked on Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM) plan for the city of Visakhapatnam, which includes the technical feasibility assessment of pumping station and Sewer Treatment Plant (STP) and Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation for upgradation of pumping station for septage disposal.

She has received her bachelor’s degree in “Civil Engineering” from Gujarat University and master’s degree in “Environmental Planning” from CEPT University, Ahmedabad
